Can I let you in on a secret?
Photography is actually my security blanket. I am honestly
pretty awkward at talking to strangers BUT you give me a
camera and I become a social butterfly. I use my camera as
a tool to connect with people I would not otherwise connect
with. So, how did I get here?
How did I start photography? I often wonder about this.
I remember playing around with my parents camera as a child.
The one with a roll of film in it. Yes, I am old. Anyways...
I didn't really have any concept of what I was doing. I
remember my mum was always surprised by the photos
I took. She was the one to say those magical words:
"You have eye for photography." Sometimes that is all it takes.
Since I trust my mum I started taking more photos. The next
logical step was to buy my own camera. Which for me was a
red Nikon D3200. And there it started. I was a camera owner
aka self named photographer. Next came years and years of
messy work. Finding my style, my voice, what I want to
photograph etc. Starting with photographing sunsets and
flowers I found it more fulfilling to capture things with more
meaning. People, passion, connection and unity. That's what
I love documenting.

"Yes Dear" is a response in a relationship that carries
connection. It could be used by a parent who is responding
to their childs repeating question or a husband submitting
to his wives wish to watch a silly chick flick. It's the choice
to respond with affection that builds strong relationships.
